‘Not Far Away’ is the lead single from a four track EP, to be released in early 2019, with a racing homecoming to previous form. The sublime new cut brings with it that same energy that saw them sell out The Borderline, The Lexington and Camden Assembly.
Their previous offerings in 2016 found support from new music stalwarts Gary Crowley at BBC Introducing and John Kennedy at Radio X. As well as high praise from CLASH Magazine, Gigslutz and Fred Perry Subculture.
“There are shades of Maccabees, Bombay Bicycle Club and The Twang all in the mix here. Indie pop you can dance to.” Fred Perry Subculture.
Releasing his 1st EP at 17, making it to number 36 in the iTunes charts. His second EP 'BIG LITTLE GLASS BOWL' cements a very current rock/blues sound.

WHITEHALL PARADE - Seven piece rootsy folk rock band based in Cardiff (formerly known as The James Clode Band).
The band is based in Cardiff but to date (2015) has recently performed at a number of venues, events and festivals across the UK including the Watchet Music Festival, C2C Country-to-Country Festival and the Welsh Perry & Cider Festival at Caldicot Castle.
Our music is a combination of up-beat, foot stomping tunes and softer, more folk-orientated melodies.
The Kinky Wizzards
The Kinky Wizzards are one of the most audacious, exciting and fun instrumental rock jazz bands to have exploded in the music scene. The Welsh trio, comprising of bassist Mathew ‘Miffy’ Griffiths, drummer Jonathan ‘Jiffy’ Griffiths and guitarist Ryan Elliott offer an unforgettable pyrotechnical kinky display of musical wizardry where you can expect anything from flying drum sticks to slapped bass to indulgent yet infectious guitar solos, all packaged in ludicrous song titles such as ‘Door Dancing Penny Collector’ and ‘Stomp Foot Syndrome’.
Since releasing their debut album ‘Tasting Toadstools’ of predominantly bass and drums, the band has sold records worldwide and has already garnered a solid reputation, having played the London drum show to an audience including Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason, been featured on DrumTalk TV and opened for Frank Zappa’s band members, The Mothers of Invention. The band has also endorsed and demoed gear for worldwide manufacturers Mapex and Seymour Duncan.
The band released their sophomore record ‘Quirky Musings’ in March of 2017, introducing Elliott’s writing to the catalogue. The record has sold internationally and has been praised by fans and critics alike for the instrumental prowess on display from the trio, as well the playful interplay, grooviness and sense of fun. All of which is showcased in their live performances.
The Kinky Wizzards are three extremely dedicated musicians who set out to push musical boundaries whilst always holding their notorious sense of humorous wit that will thrill any lover of instrumental music.
The James Davies Trio,
Made up of ‘Miffy griffiths (Bass) and Jiffy Griffiths (Drums) from the ‘Kinky Wizzards’ offer a solid experienced backline to the talented James Davies from ‘Wynt’ (Vocals and Electric/Acoustic guitar).
All 3 of these boys have spent years working with different artists each building a well-known portfolio platform for themselves.
James has a long catalogue of original material that the brothers wanted to help push, also expanding and creating the ‘James Davies Trio’ and alternatively pushing them into new territory.
It’s only the beginning of something that could have great potential.

We are very excited to announce that we have Carus Thompson to headline this special evening on the 25th of May 2019!
Having shared a stage with some of our favourites songwriters he's coming to NosDa, supported by Jim Blair - Jim Blair - Hip Route Solo (Hip Route) and Christian Smith Music!
Originally making his name as part of explosion of the Australian Roots movement in the 2000’s alongside good friends The John Butler Trio, The Waifs, Xavier Rudd and Pete Murray, troubadour Carus Thompson is a first class songwriter who’s songs & stories connect. As well as his Colonial mates he's toured with Jack Johnson, Dave Mathews and Damien Rice, however in the UK it was his 3 tours opening for folk star Seth Lakeman that really put him on the map, earning him some BBC2 play through folk-roots aficionado Bob Harris.
February 2019 sees Carus again touring the UK opening for Seth on his Theatre Tour.
Jim Blair - Hip Route Solo
Usually part of the three piece Hip Route Jim's solo material is just as enchanting, especially when handling a slide!
