NosDa has the best location for a hostel in the Welsh capital. On the River Taff, NosDa is opposite Wales’ most iconic building, the Millennium Stadium (Cardiff Castle and Cardiff Central Station are just a stone's throw away).
NosDa means 'good night' in Welsh and that is exactly what we are promising. We are the only hostel on the River Taff with a licensed bar and not only that, NosDa is an established live music venue too. What better place to stay than a typically Welsh hostel with local bands, Welsh food & drinks, and local artists bringing you closer to the Welsh culture. We regularly organise beer festivals and Open Mic nights, and all Rugby World Cup and 6 Nations games are featured on our big screen. On a match day you can hear the crowd going wild at the Millennium Stadium, that's how close we are!
Even though NosDa is one of the largest hostels in Cardiff, it is proud to have the reputation of being friendly and personal with well-travelled international and local staff on hand 24/7. We are also proud to be a partner of the St. Christopher's Hostel Network, one of the largest and most famous hostel networks in Europe.
We welcome international backpackers as well as Stag & Hen parties, rugby teams and school groups. NosDa is experienced in group accommodation and offers a variety of room types to suit all needs. We have a great communal kitchen and plenty of common space to chill out, watch TV, read a book or catch up on emails. Meet your fellow travellers whilst tasting some of our local ales and ciders!

Fantastic chain. Won't look at any other hostel if there is a St Christopher's around!
Loved loved the location, the people, the staff and my stay overall. Cardiff is perfect. Nosda is located perfectly along the river. Love love!
+ The staff were unbelievable! So friendly and fair! The room was spotless, ensuite shower was class. - Nothing, 17 of us thought the place was perfect
+ The relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff, and the chance to meet people from other countries, over breakfast and in the lounge. The highlight, though was probably the chance to do a tour of the senned and the three quarter of an hour spent in the debating chamber, at First Minister's Question Time. But there are many reasons to visit Cardiff and its surroundings, not least, the welcome you receive from the Welsh people! - Can't think of anything.
Great location, reasonable price for drinks, always shows the rugby!
Came here for a stag weekend, all the staff really great and up for a laugh. Rooms really good size beds nice and comfortable great bar to drink in before going on a night out with really reasonable drink prices. Would 100% stay here again and would recommend it not just to stag and hen parties but too anyone staying in Cardiff. Thank you too Diane and everyone else at nos da quality weekend.
We made this reservation last minute with a group of five. The hostel has quite big communal areas and the beer in the bar was good. Friendly and helpful staff. And you get what you are told. Walking distance to the centre and just across the river from the stadium. I would stay here again easily!
+ Great location close to everything and city centre. Friendly staff and nice relaxed vibe. All the facilities you could want AND a pool table. Breakfast included in the price. Perfect for our budget for a short getaway to Cardiff. - We didn't stay long. We didn't make it up for breakfast (again).
